Two 30 x 40 marquees connected side on for 80 guests in Sheffield. We usually set up on Wednesday or Thursday, which gives the whole weekend a focal point.

Mary and Mark — Stannington, Sheffield
Three T40 marquees connected on the outskirts of Sheffield, dressed with limewash chiavari chairs and sofas. Mark sent us his own CAD visualisations.
2018 Showreel
The 2018 season in 60 seconds. From far North Yorkshire to the edges of the Peak District and out on the M18 east, we covered a fair few miles.
Mia and Owen — Dunscar Farm, Castleton
Castleton is one of the most picturesque parts of our corner of the Peak District. Dunscar Farm is tree lined, well sheltered, with views out to Mam Tor.
Woodlane Weddings
Wood Lane Countryside Centre in Stannington is one of our favourite marquee venues. We get called in for extra space, cover from rain, or shade.

Flora and Rich
A trip over to Cheshire for a wedding on a family friend’s property near Malpas. Glorious weather all weekend, so we left the sides off half the marquees.
What about the rubbish?
The top five things we find when we hose our matting down are all plastic. Some thoughts on cutting event waste, without turning it into a lecture.
Catherine and Adam — Castleton Rotary Centre
Two T40 marquees at the Castleton Rotary Centre for 120 guests, with 5ft 6 round tables and limewash chairs, and a couple who brewed their own booze.
Dareeca and Stefan
Two T40 marquees end on for a Leeds wedding on a grandparents’ farm. The weather held out, though it did keep Stefan’s retro Vauxhall Astra off the field.
Hannah and Pete — Ceremony Tent at Eyam Hall
We did not do the main marquee for this one. We supplied cover for the ceremony at Eyam Hall, which was just as well — it tipped it down at the start.

A fairground extravaganza of a wedding in Rotherham. So much colour, attention to detail and personality, with a helter skelter thrown into the mix.
Powering your event
How much power an event actually needs, with the numbers worked through. Our lighting for three T40 marquees pulls about 1200 watts — a kettle boiling.
Chris and Sarah — Whirlow Farm
We put up our own two marquees the day before our wedding at Whirlow Farm. A 30x40 Trapeze connected to a 20x30, ample for around 70 day guests.
Introducing our new Trapeze marquees for hire
Our new Trapeze marquees are engineered to withstand 60mph winds. Thicker fabric, stronger poles, a ratchet system, and 20 per cent more usable space.
A new venue in Leeds — Horsforth Golf Club
Two Capri marquees on the eighteenth hole at Horsforth Golf Club, seating 120 with limewash chairs, round tables and a parquet dance floor.
Sophie and Nick
Our first big wedding, back in May 2015. Three Capri marquees connected together in a Sheffield back garden, seating 150 with rustic tables and benches.

Three 28ft x 38ft Capri marquees connected together, a brand new lighting rig, over 150 metres of fairy lights, and the first outing for our pallet bar.
Pallet Bar #1
We sourced pallets from our friends at Welbeck Brewery, sanded them down and built a bar with a scaffolding board top. It flat packs and fits in the Golf.

Have you considered paper flowers for your wedding?
A floral swag is flowers and foliage tied around a length of rope. It would look great on a top table, and paper flowers make it cheaper to do yourself.

We love using Pinterest. It comes into its own for thrifty DIY projects, which makes it perfect for planning events, particularly weddings.
