2019 So far

As we draw breath after a busy marquee hire start to the season we thought we’d put together a little blog of what we’ve been up to so far. We’ve already done some miles from travelling up to Richmond and far North Yorkshire, Linnet on the other sides of the peaks near Manchester and some more local jobs around Sheffield.

It’s been great to welcome back old faces with many crew returning for their second and even third season’s which means we can hit the ground running on every job.

We’ve already done some miles this season travelling up to Richmond in North Yorkshire to Low Gingerfield Farm Bed & Breakfast to set up a single Trapeze to seat 80 for a wedding, with the dancing taking place in their fabulous barn.

We’ve setup 3 x T40 (30 x 40ft) Trapezes connected together to seat 150 people at Linnet Clough Scout Camp on the other side of the Peaks (from us!) near Manchester. We also provided our pallet bar to put into their quintessential scout hall. A stunning venue down some very windy country lanes!

We’ve also done some more local jobs including an annual football presentation in Bramley, Rotherham and a double package 2 x T40 joined side on for a wedding in Fulwood.

Our rustic trestle tables have been popular this year for weddings – working well with both the wooden fold ups and limewash chairs. For us to provide the blank canvas, it’s always great to see images from events once all the finishing touches have been added. Those finer details such as table runners, flowers, napkins, empty tins, empty gin bottles right down to the cutlery, really does make a difference.

This season has seen us move our 2018 base over to the outskirts of Oughtibridge making it a little easier for us to travel north up the M1. This is great for travelling to Leeds and Barnsley but also not too far for us getting out to the Peak District.

We don’t mind a bit of a jaunt to get to a job, so even if you think you’re a little far out for us, give us a call and we’ll always do our best to help. We’re looking forward to the rest of the busy season, and we hope to have news regarding furniture additions and venues for 2020.
